A Bit More About Me

I began my journey in social media advertising at 16, combining e-commerce with content creation and running my own small business. Since then, I’ve led creative strategy and paid media at The Saltworks Company and scaled Deenable’s TikTok to nearly 30,000 followers and 3M+ impressions in under three months. My work in UGC, coaching, and global brand collaborations reflects a deep understanding of what drives performance and talent in digital advertising. Currently, I'm one month away from completing my honours year in Computing and Creative Design at RGU, balancing academic excellence with a fast-paced creative career.

This course integrates computing principles with creative innovation, so far has provided me in-depth experience in Full-Stack Web Development with Express, 2D Animation, 2D Game Development using C# and Unity, SQL, 2D & 3D Animation with Toon Boom software, 3D Game Development and Visual Scripting in Unity, Mobile App Design and Development with Angular and Ionic, User-Centred Design, 3D Modelling with Blender, and UX/UI App Design in Figma. Currently in preparation to start my honours year project and complete the remaining modules.

This two-year course, designed for direct university entry, focused on key modules including Data Science, Social Media for Business, Business Statistics, Big Data, Cloud Computing, RDMS, E-Commerce Solutions, Business Culture and Strategy, Cyber Security, Introduction to JavaScript/HTML/CSS, UX/UI Design using Adobe Xd, SQL, User Experience Design, Functional Areas of Business, Databases & Spreadsheets, Project Management Methodologies, Business Process Management and Professionalism and Ethics in Computing.

During the course, I was elected by my classmates to serve as Head Class Representative for two consecutive years. I was also honoured to receive the Kathy Horne Enterprise and Innovation Award for inspiring fellow students to start their own small businesses.

The course core modules covered Market Operations and the Scottish Economy, People and Finance Management, Marketing and Operations Management, Management Accounting, Cash Transaction Recording, Marketing Principles, and Customer Care Skills.

Introduction to Financial and Cost Accounting accompanied by concepts of Contract Law.

Working with Brandhouzz Digital – a B2B digital marketing agency – has been an exciting shift from my previous experience with DTC and B2C clients. It’s been a fun and rewarding jump, filled with constant learning and exposure to entirely new sectors.

 

From attending world-class marketing and industry events like Topsides 2024 and the North-East Tourism Conference, to engaging directly with clients, the journey has been nothing short of dynamic. I’ve especially enjoyed crafting, recording and editing videos – both for our clients and in-house – building on the editing skills I’ve been refining over the past four years and pushing them further with each new project.

Although my tenure as Influencer Marketing Manager at Crescent Days was brief due to the company's sudden decision to cease operations, I quickly adapted to their internal systems and successfully integrated into the company culture.

Previously, I collaborated closely with the CEO on a paid-media advertising video project, which became the company's most successful creator partnership to date and was later showcased as a leading example for future collaborations. This success led to my being offered the Influencer Marketing Manager position, a testament to the impact of our partnership.

At Saltworks Company, I have advanced through various roles, contributing to the company from multiple angles. One of my standout achievements includes creating an advertisement that reached the highest CTR (Top 10% CTR on TikTok Ad Library) in the company's history.

Furthermore, as a Creative Director, I utilized the extensive training provided by the company to efficiently manage a team of over 30 creators each month, producing successful advertisements that generated over 5,000,000 impressions with exceptional ROI. Additionally, I managed influencer marketing for the brand in both the UK and Poland.

My journey with Deenable began with a request for product photography for the brand's Amazon store. As our partnership developed, I assumed the role of full-time marketing advisor and social media manager. One of my most notable achievements was driving the brand to exceed 3,000,000 impressions and nearly 30,000 followers on TikTok in under two months.
